WELCOME TO THE MANOR HOUSE HOTEL
The Manor House Hotel is situated on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. Holy Island
itself, a centre of Christianity since the establishment of the first monastery in 635AD, is a
tidal island accessed by causeway, the incoming tide isolating the island from the mainland twice
in every 24 hours.
Ever a magnet for watching migrating birds, the dunes, are now administered by English nature following the establishment of the area as a nature reserve, and a very pleasant place to walk and unwind.
The hotel, once the summer home of the lord of several local manors, is located at the heart of the island, adjacent to the priory and with magnificent views of the castle and harbour.
Open all the year round except for a short period in January and February, we offer a high standard of accommodation in our ten guest bedrooms. Disabled access and toilet facilities are available on the ground floor.
Lunch and dinner are served in the bar, restaurant and garden, using whenever possible locally sourced and produced ingredients
